What You Actually Get
Three bedrooms, two bathrooms plus a guest powder room, spread across two levels — designed by Design & Diplomacy, so the finishes do a lot of the talking. Each bedroom is light-filled with built-in robes. Downstairs, the open-plan living and dining flows out to a north-facing private terrace — good for alfresco meals or a sunset glass of wine. The kitchen has stone benchtops, Miele and Smeg appliances, and bi-fold servery windows for when you want the terrace and kitchen working as one space. Upstairs there’s a second living area for quiet nights or movie marathons, plus a dedicated study if you’re here for work. Ducted heating and cooling year-round.
The Location (Without the Spin)
You’re a short stroll from Port Melbourne Beach, Station Pier and the foreshore walking and cycling paths — close enough that “bayside” isn’t just a marketing word. Bay Street’s cafés, wine bars and restaurants are all nearby, and the light rail gets you into the CBD in minutes if you need the city, without living in it.
Where to Eat (We’ve Actually Been)
- Station St Café or Hurricane Handsome — good coffee to start the day.
- Mr. Hobson — waterfront dining if you want the view with your meal.
- Bay Street itself — plenty of casual options if you’d rather wander and decide on the spot.
- The Local or The Pier — solid picks for evening drinks.
- Walk it off along the beach, or through Lagoon Reserve and Gasworks Park.

It is such a beautiful house, which became our home during the 4 months we stayed their. We loved its location, close to the beach, and close to CBD and tram. We rented a bike, and were able to do everything in Melbourne we wanted using the bikes. The house has everything you need, from an excellent equipped kitchen, three bedrooms with great beds, two comfortable bathrooms, washing machine and dryer etc. The outside area is really lovely as well. We would recommend anyone to stay here. Thanks to Jo for the close follow up. Whenever we had a question, Jo was always really quick in responding and following up. Thanks!
