There’s also a cot and high chair available for a small fee if needed. (Don’t forget to bring linen for the cot).
Centrally heated and cooled, you will be comfortable all year round. There is undercover, secure parking for one vehicle. There is a long, undercover balcony with table and chairs, and views over parts of the nearby Arts Precinct, towards Port Phillip Bay in the distance. The two bathrooms and two queen bedrooms on separate sides of the apartment provide ideal privacy for two couples, or for mum and dad and two children. No need to share bathrooms in this high-rise retreat.
The owners have recently installed double glazing for the entire length of the balcony windows.

WHAT’S IN SOUTHBANK? 

Your Southbank corporate apartment is brilliantly and centrally located; very close to the NGV (National Gallery of Victoria), the Arts Centre, Melbourne Theatre Company, Hamer Hall, St Kilda Road, the Melbourne Recital Centre & Melbourne city shopping. Some of the best shopping, restaurants, cafes and bars in Australia are on your doorstep, with a short walk (or tram ride) into the city.

Melbourne CBD shopping centre, the Bourke Street Mall, Kings Domain Gardens, Federation Square, Crown Casino and the aquarium are all within easy walking distance. The tram stops are just out the front on Sturt St.
The apartment also overlooks the Malthouse theatre neighbourhood and the nearby Citylink motorway. Some of our guests have found this noisy, but most have not found it an issue.

You can enjoy a walk to some of the best-known sporting venues, markets and arts venues in the country.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Trams stop out the front, and they will take you anywhere you want to go. Direct routes go to Albert Park, and connect to St Kilda or back into the City and St Kilda Road around the corner, where you can connect to anywhere.You can walk through the Arts Precinct to the CBD shopping and Flinders St Station nearby, across St Kilda Road to the Domain and Kings Gardens or back to the Botanical Gardens & the Moonlight Cinema.

GETTING THERE
If you are coming by tram, take the No. 1 tram from Swanston St in the city, or from St Kilda Road in front of the NGV or the Arts Centre (heading away from the city). As it turns right off St Kilda Road and turns left into Sturt St, get off at tram stop No. 18, which is just past No. 152.

We fell in love with this beautiful apartment from the first moment we viewed it. It’s a fantastic building and is convenient/accessible to everything. The number 1 tram which runs past the building, goes directly to the centre of Melbourne and as far as Lygon Street Carlton, or to the South Melbourne market in the other direction. The rooftop area on the 22nd floor has amazing, almost 360 degree views of Port Phillip bay and Melbourne CBD. We love staying there and we hope you will too.

PET FRIENDLY
Yes we accept pets subject to our pet stay conditions (see our terms).  There are few dog parks in the area, including the Small Dog Park on City Road.

Pets must be declared on the booking and a pet stay fee of $135 (base rate) plus $5 per night per pet will be applied.
