What You Actually Get

A light-filled, ground floor two-bedroom apartment, beautifully styled and genuinely comfortable — the kind of place that suits couples, small families, or a group of friends after a local, laid-back Melbourne stay rather than a cookie-cutter serviced apartment. Floor-to-ceiling windows flood the living space with sunshine, and you’ve got not one but two private courtyards to make use of — good for a lazy breakfast in one, evening drinks in the other, depending on which way the sun’s moved. Reverse-cycle air conditioning and heating keep the living area comfortable no matter the season. Street parking is available directly outside the building, so you’re not circling the block after a big day exploring.

The Location (Without the Spin)

This is about as well-connected as inner-north Melbourne gets. The No. 19 tram into the city is a 2-minute walk, the No. 6 is 6 minutes, and Jewell Station is 9 minutes away if you’d rather take the train — so you’ve got three separate ways into the CBD, which is 3.5km away, without needing a car. Barkly Square Shopping Centre is a 6-minute walk for supermarkets, fresh produce and everyday retail, and Princes Park is 5 minutes away — ideal for a morning run, a sunset stroll, or a picnic under the trees. Melbourne Zoo is close by too, and Melbourne University is an easy walk if that’s part of why you’re here.

Sydney Road and Lygon Street are both within reach, giving you two very different flavours of Melbourne’s inner north in one stay — one all vintage stores and eclectic energy, the other leaning into Italian wine bars and old-school charm.

Worth calling out on its own: Princes Park’s 3km walking and running track is one of the best reasons to stay in this pocket of Brunswick. Whether it’s a proper morning run, a slow lap with a coffee in hand, or catching a local footy game on the weekend, it’s the kind of everyday luxury you don’t get closer to the city.
